Penfield was first established in Hudson, Massachusetts and was the brainchild of founder Harvey Gross back in 1975. Over 36 years Penfield have managed to define themselves as one of the leading jacket and outdoor wear companies of the world. Originally designed to withstand the New England weather of high storms, rain or anything else for that matter, it is ever so prevalent as to the reason why I brought one myself, you just cannot trust the British climate. I opted for the Lakeville Cobalt, the jacket has been optimised for maximum comfort with the sole purpose of keeping you comfortable throughout the changeable conditions on the horizon. The colour choice allows me to sample back to the 70s with its bright cobalt blue and leather shoulder yokes.
