Have you ever wondered how many people in the United States have a University degree?....me neither, but this website makes for interesting viewing by breaking down the figures into county, year, gender, race and has lots of pretty colours as well. 

MUSIC // LAID BACK

The Laid Back project (aka LDBK) first came together in 2002 as a weekly radio show broadcasted on a local radio station in Brussels. However, music is nothing without context, stories, images and therefore, they have always tried to integrate and share as much content as possible about the music they play, presenting it in new ways with pertinent background stories, captivating visuals (especially street art) and the best layout.

Laid Back's priority is to connect existing communities around the world and activate them to engage in different projects. Most of their content is exclusive and generated through this unique and ever-growing international network of creative minds (designers, photographers, writers, artists, musicians, DJ’s, software developers, filmmakers and so forth).

Laid Back focus on everything urban related be it music, art, lifestyle or whatever topic they feel like discussing. While music wise, they play everything from Soul, Funk, Jazz, Psych Rock, Disco and Latin music to Hip Hop and much more.

After exploring the FM airwaves for more than 8 years, LDBK was launched as an online radio station playing the best in urban music from the last 40 years.

TEST // DO NOTHING FOR 2 MINUTES

It's Tuesday night and if you're stumbling around the internet not doing a lot, try and actually not do anything....if only for 2 minutes.

Do nothing for 2 minutes is the latest creation from the founder of the ridiculously tacky Million Dollar Home Page, Alex Tew. Alex netted just over a million dollars by auctioning off each pixel for a $1.

If you move your mouse or touch your keyboard you fail, it's actually quite hard to......do nothing for 2 minutes      ...and boring.

The video below shows the under 12 teams from Tottenham and Lech Poznan playing each other during an indoor championship in Poland. I remember being lucky enough if 1 parent from the whole of my team turned up for a game!

Sorry for the massive lack of blogging in the past few weeks but with Xmas, New Year, Holidays, Birthdays and whatever else it would seem no one has had any time.
